We frequently walk with Kargo in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. This recent walk around Stow Lake occurred just after Christmas. She's standing in front of the "open source" Christmas tree/bush that has been decorated for the last few years by park visitors. The ornaments change every year, and this year someone decided that empty little liquor bottles make great ornaments.

Kargo's throne
Some time ago, we found a chair that was being free-cycled in SF. It was in pretty good shape -- nothing that a little duct tape couldn't fix. It did smell of tobacco so we hit it with Febreze, after which it smelled of tobacco mixed with bad perfume. We then threw on a fleece throw (washed, of course) once used by the late great Tomokee. Kargo loves the chair! It is now her throne in the family room.

Dog park visit
We took Kargo to the dog park for the first time and she had a blast. She just loved playing with the other dogs.
Here she is near the watering hole.
This dog park is really nice -- there are sculptures everywhere.
A giant fire hydrant is always nice.
This is a bench, but it looks more like a cat than a dog to me.

Serendipitous Nautical Semaphore
So, I was joking with a friend that Kargo's ears looked like she was sending nautical semaphore, he responded that she seemed to be, appropriately, sending a "K." Son of a gun:
Kismet or Karma... who knows?
